Janice’s Prelude to
"Making Your Own Harp Arrangement"
Three questions that I ask myself when arranging music for the harp:
1. The composer is looking at a blank manuscript page. What is that composer’s intent? What is the musical work being created: i.e., dance, song, classical style, etc.?
2. How do I remain faithful to the original musical intent of the composer and still highlight the radiance of the harp?
3. What ideas do I bring to this music that enhance the original work through the harp?
Now, pick your favorite melody and join me in "Making Your Own Harp Arrangement."
